As Rukia so astutely points out, everyone needs a chance to relax after all that Muramasa-Zanpakuto-brainwashing-etc drama that went down. Set 18 opens on Byakuya’s swanky garden party at the Kuchiki mansion. And for those anticipating the return of the Arrancar Arc, episodes 266 and 267 will wet your whistle! The majority of the episodes contained in this DVD Set include one-shot episodes about our favorite soul reapers and the relationship they develop with their manifested Zanpakuto. I see now that this thought was a bit premature…īleach Set 18, while diverging from the main plot for the bulk of its episodes (256-267), has a lot to offer. When last I reviewed a Bleach DVD Set, I had mistakenly believed I was writing about the conclusion to the Zanpakuto Arc.
